Norbertines profess poverty that demands simplicity of life and the sharing of our lives and talents with each other and with those to whom we minister, consecrated celibacy that opens us to growth in the Spirit in union with others, and obedience that opens us, as fully as possible, to God’s will. We dedicate ourselves to a life of self-giving, rooted in the conventual celebration of Eucharist and the Liturgy of the Hours.
The Norbertine Community offers programs for Spiritual Enrichment through the Norbertine Center for Spirituality.
The National Shrine of St. Joseph is housed in the crypt of St. Norbert Abbey. There is a weekly Holy Hour and Prayers to St. Joseph on Wednesday at 3:15 p.m. in the crypt and a yearly novena to St. Joseph March 11-19th
