Jacob is the son of Thomas and Marian Miklautsch of Minocqua, WI and Joseph Sircy of Lake Forest IL.  He is a 2009 graduate of St. Norbert College (Religious Studies).

James Owens will be vested as a novice at Santa Maria de la Vid Priory in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on August 27, 2010. The Priory is a daughter house of St. Norbert Abbey.
