St. Mark
St. Mark holds a shell from which pour seven streams of water. The shell suggests St. John the Baptist, whose call to a baptism of repentance opens the Gospel of St. Mark. The seven streams stand for the grace of God poured forth upon baptized Christians by Christ in his sacramental activity. |
