Looking Back at the Prophets

Good relationships. Doesn’t life always come down to that? This is no different with God. Being in right relationship with God is a foundational element of the Judeo-Christian religion. In the Old Testament the prophets were special voices of God who called Israel back to its right relationship with God.

Both challenging and provocative, this presentation will examine several prophetic texts from the Hebrew Bible that have been influential over time. Passages that have been long overlooked will also form the basis of our discussion.

Be engaged by Thomas Bolin, Ph.D., respected professor of Scripture at St. Norbert College and noted author, as he delves into this section of our spiritual heritage.
