Norbertine Volunteer Community

Set our hearts aflame, O Lord, with the Spirit of your charity, we pray, that we may always think thoughts worthy and pleasing to your majesty and love you sincerely in our brothers and sisters.

—Prayer for Charity; Roman Missal

The Norbertine community of St. Norbert Abbey has an extensive history of ministry in the local community, across the U.S., and abroad. The Norbertine vision for outreach and service to the most vulnerable has grown to include young adults who wish to dedicate 11 months or more to full-time service.

The Norbertine Volunteer Community (NVC) was founded in 2008 by the Norbertines in De Pere, Wisconsin. Come be a part of the journey as a servant leader among “those for whom the world makes no room.”
